Navigate in your WordPress dashboard / Appearance – Themes – Add New.

Notice there is an option for “Upload”. Then click the “Browse” button, navigate your files and select the .ZIP WowAries file.

Once uploaded, click the “Activate” link. Your theme is now active!

  1. From your Dashboard, go to Pages – Add New. Name your newly created page Home and assign it to Homepage templates from the Page Attributes right area. Simply leave the page blank then save/update:

  2. Go to Settings/Reading – Front Page displays and select Home for Front Page.

  3. Now you can visit the Customizer (from Appearance/Customize) to start populating your Homepage. Make sure you replace the default dummy text fields so you can actually generate the changes, then don’t forget to save:

After customizing the Default Header, About me & Social sections, your homepage looks now similar to our demo. Once the portfolio is also set, it will look exactly the same. Learn how to customize the portfolio area in the next section of this documentation.

In order to populate homepage portfolio section, you must add some portfolio items. Navigate to Portfolio/Add New. Add the title for your portfolio item, the description and set a featured image, then save. That’s it! You can repeat this task for every single portfolio item you might want to add. If you visit your homepage now, you will notice that the portfolio area is already starting to populate itself.

To have a distinct Portfolio page, as in demo, please see the Menu section of this documentation.

Navigate to Pages/Add New, name the page Blog, leave it blank, then save. Go to Settings/Reading and assign Posts page to Blog.

As soon as you have your first blog post (Posts/Add new), this page will be populated with your posts similar to the demo. From your Dashboard, visit Plugins area and search for Contact 7 form plugin. Install and activate.

1. From your Dashboard, go to Plugins, search for Contact form 7 plugin. After you install and activate the plugin, go to Contact – Contact forms – Contact form 1, click edit and paste the following snippet:

[text* your-name placeholder "Name"] [email* your-email placeholder "E-mail"] [textarea* your-message placeholder "Message"] [submit "Send"]

2. Don’t forget to save! Now go to Pages/Add New, name the page Contact (or whatever you wish), and paste the shortcode generated by the contact form, something similar to:

[contact-form-7 id="285" title="Contact form 1"]

Now your Contact page will look like the demo.
