      Hello, Shivani
      Scorilo is flexible from this point of view and you can assign any static page as your homepage.

    Hi, is this theme compatible with Visual Composer to make full width rows?

    • Wow Themes
      August 6, 2015 at 11:41 am

      The Visual Composer states it is compatible with any WP Theme. About full width rows that extend, overflows a theme’s container, I do not know if they can accomplish that since I haven’t tested it (their plugin not being free for developer testing). So, I cannot answer to this question for sure, unfortunately. Thank you for your question!

    Like in this example if I wish to click “PHOTOS” or “CITY” –
    – it will open:

      @noizfxed – Yes, I understand your request, it’s already planned for the next update (no timeframe yet).
      @mihaichelaru – No plans for this feature yet, but if there are more asking for it we will take it into account.

    Any plans to integrate it with bbPress? That will be a nice feature.

    Ah I know how to do it now. Just copy the code from page.php into index.php (in the headercart paragragh tag).

    The page header meta box is not working on the blog page. It doesn’t matter what I type, the page title shows up (i.e. Blog | MySite). Even if I type  , the title still appears. I am using WordPress SEO plugin.

    Can one take advantage of both the digital and physical worlds. Sell for ex…apparel with the woocommerce plugin, and have it added to the cart along with digital items for purchase?

    • Sal
      November 14, 2014 at 2:46 pm

      yes, it is possible, but the design may require a bit of customization to integrate aesthetically well with woocommerce, too.

    On a normal PC monitor, the blog content area is very wide. Is it possible / easy to reduce the width of the content area and widen the sidebar / widget area to 300px?

    Or maybe reduce the default full page width?

      The ideal solution would be to change the classes inside theme files, but this requires customization. A less elegant one but easier would be to add the following code in Theme Options/Styling – Custom CSS box and save:

      @media (min-width: 1140px) {
      .pagenamesinglepost #secondary {width: 340px;margin-left: -100px;}
      .pagenamesinglepost #main {width: 750px;}

    On the product section when it says comments would that be turned into a review section area when EDD reviews is installed since it is extending the commenting functionality.

    Also if that is the case and it does work would it also take care of all the micro data stuff and be compatible with SEO?

    One last question my logo is a big larger than the one you are using would it be difficult to stretch the header so that the logo doesn’t scale down?

    Thank you so much for your time.

    Hi there,

    Does the theme support retina logos?

  13. June 27, 2014 at 9:59 pm

    Hey, my “purchase” button is not working. I am not a pro by any means. So I am not sure how to fix this! Also, when I uploaded everything, it never looked like the original “theme” after following the instructions? I never got the 3 columns on the home page with the pay pal, instant download, etc. I know it had a lot of errors when I uploaded the xml file. I was really hoping it would look the same. I can deal with it not looking exactly the same. But I hate that the purchase button is not working on the main picture where you can click to purchase or view details. Any info would be appreciated! Thanks!

    First of all…very good theme :)

    I would like to know – can we show related products below the item description ( )?

    it helps sell more, currently after adding the item to shopping cart users need go back to main page to browse more items…it would be really user friendly if we could show a few products either below the description or in the sidebar.

    Second thing – the checkout button is visible on item page only …. suppose user added an item to the cart and didn’t checked out instead he went back to the browse other items….after leaving the item page we can’t see checkout button ……we need to go back again to the item page and proceed.. it would be great if a universal checkout button is there somewhere on top so users could process the payment from any page of the website.

    Ok i just noticed a check out link in the menu …. but it doesn’t pop … I am not sure if users would notice it instantly… a button would be a lot better :)

    Thank you very much!

      There are plugins for showing related products. I will consider a shortcode myself in a future update.
      Secondly, why don’ t you leave a checkout menu item as in demo? Or maybe I haven’t understood your question exactly? Waiting for more details.

      Hi, Nadine, unless others post here their website links based on Scorillo theme, no, I’m afraid I can’t publish it without their permission.

        Sorry to keep asking questions, but again is that possible with the admin or has to be coded? How would that be done? Thanks for the quick responses.

          April 3, 2014 at 12:41 pm

          Just to clarify, whenever i say it’s possible it means it can be managed via admn, not coded. It means it is implenented.

              April 3, 2014 at 12:46 pm

              Ratings as in stars no. Just reviews (comments like this one).

                April 3, 2014 at 12:50 pm

                Ok that’s not too bad, but how much work would it be to put in ratings/starts? a lot of changes to the theme?

                  April 3, 2014 at 1:11 pm

                  I suppose there are already plugins, maybe EDD extensions for this. Adding this feature would be no easy, no hard task, but at the moment I am not planning it. I hope this helps.

    Is it possible for their to be the option for users to put in a discount code on the checkout page? I know EDD has this option but I couldn’t see it implemented?

      Yes, it is possible.

    March 18, 2014 at 2:32 pm

    I have replied in private but I will repeat the info for everyone.

    The reason Scorilo wasn’t implemented with predefiend fields was flexibility. Having in mind a multipurpose shop , the user has the possibility to fill their own specifications (In Example: Version, Size etc)

    Would it be possible to assign different fields depending on the category? Yes there are up to 20 specifications, free fields you can personalize.

    Is this theme compatible with EDD’s “commissions” and “frontend” submission bundle? Possible to turn this theme into a marketplace?

    • Sal
      March 18, 2014 at 2:36 pm

      I haven’t tested it with marketplace bundle – front end and comissions, so I am not able to give you a certain answer. Of course, anything is possible with customization, but basically, it is designed to be a personal shop.
